Purpose:
The purpose of WOW is to prayerfully create an opportunity for our women to experience God’s faithfulness, to encourage their spiritual growth, to equip them to serve others in the church, and to reach out to our community with the message of the Gospel of Christ.
Prayer:
We believe in the power of prayer. We believe in praying about any decisions that are made. We believe that it is impossible to pray too much. PRAY! PRAY! PRAY!
Bible Study:
We come together to study God’s Word, discuss it, pray, search our hearts, and apply His Word to our lives. We meet new friends and fellowship with other women seeking to draw nearer to God through the study of His Word.
Community Missions:
We want to help meet the needs of the people in our church and surrounding communities. Our goal is to select those areas with needs that we can best serve. We will encourage all members of our church to be involved in this mission endeavor.
Retreat:
Designed for spiritual rejuvenation and physical relaxation away from the demands of every day life. Its main purpose is to draw us closer to God and each other. It is the perfect time to relax in the Lord, enjoy excellent teaching, meet new friends, eat good food, and offer praise and worship to the Lord.
Inreach:
We want to encourage our members to be a part of the events and activities of our church. Also be involved in special outings. We want to enjoy fellowship with our Christian friends.
Outreach:
We encourage our new members to attend our events, get involved in Sunday School class, and engage in the ministries of the church. We make telephone calls and write notes to our visitors and new members.
